Teacher retirements

At least twice a year, what we call TEACHER RETREATS are held inside the Chu Sup Tsang Monastery. These retreats belong to the so-called Anutarayogatantra, higher tantra. They are directed by the Venerable Lama Geshe Tenzing Tamding, director of this monastery, and are retreats held behind closed doors in which no external participation or contact with the Lamas is possible during the retreat.

At the end of these retreats there is always a ceremony, a PUYA OF FIRE, as an offering and purification. These ceremonies are public and are announced on this website of the Chu Sup Tsang Monastery and Foundation. The Masters and Puyas retreats usually coincide in winter and summer (February and September, approximately).
